TALE OF TRUNKS
Tale of Trunks is a coffee table book that dives into the 10-day festival dedicated to India’s beloved elephant-headed god, Ganesha. Central to the expansive book are the photographs taken by its author, GV Gopalkrishnan.
For the book design, we let the author’s immersive visuals take centrestage, interspersing them with informative copy and hand-drawn graphics. We kept the overall book design understated and minimal so that the attention rests on the dynamic pictures. A high-quality print output led to a collectible that is also a way to archive how people celebrate their faith.
